Such an epic could certainly be written about the airmen of the War. Poet Leighton Brewer has not done it, but he has shown the possibilities. A veteran of the U. S. Air Service in France, Poet Brewer sings a long paean to his old comrades of Tours, Issoudun and the Western Front. Riders of the Sky, "a combination of fact and fiction and legend," brings in many an actual person and event.
