Died. Wilson Marshall, 64, yachtsman; after long illness; in Bridgeport, Conn. Winner of a gold yachting cup in 1905 from Kaiser Wilhelm II, Mr. Marshall, during the War, gave it to the Red Cross for auctioning. Each time the highest bidder, having paid, returned the cup for further auctioning. When a series of such auctions had realized $125,000, Mr. Marshall decided to smash the cup, melt the gold for Red Cross benefit.
