...Developed World The excellent "Postcard: North Parsonfield" by Christopher Ketcham was almost worth my year's subscription to TIME on its own [Nov. 16]. This short item shone a bright light on how close some pockets of U.S. society are to parts of the Third World, with their lack of health care and their gun-toting distrust of democratic institutions.
