...intensely hot weather at New Haven during the past week has acted as somewhat of a damper upon the usual activities of college life here. Even the New England Tennis Tournament failed to bring out very large crowds or much enthusiasm. The recent poor showing of the University baseball team does not augur very well for the coming game with Princeton, but it is hoped that things will pick up again as soon as Captain Rustin can resume playing.
