...Saturday last the Football Team played the Britannias of Montreal on the Boston Base Ball Grounds. Great interest was taken in the game, from the facts that it was the first that the team had played, and that we had not had an opportunity before of judging our chances in future games. The game was called at half-past three, with Mr. F. E. Cabot, '80, umpire for Harvard, Mr. McGibbon umpire for Britannia, and Mr. Cushing, '79, referee.
