Fox Television Stations Hearing Date: Nov. 4 Background: In 2004, the FCC tightened its policy regarding expletives that had made it on-air during live broadcasts, prohibiting "single uses of vulgar words" where it had previously made allowances for "isolated and fleeting" incidents.
