...doubtful if a more pleasant site could have been found for such a tournament. The Broadmoor is not really a resort; it is a pleasure city, and one that is completely self-sufficient. Not very many resorts can offer their guests a hockey rink, a zoo, a polo field, a 27 hole golf course, a bar ensconced in a greenhouse, along with all the other obvious facilities. And above all this towers Pike's Peak, and the Rockies with their magnificent scenery...
