With such broad scope, The Economics of Justice cannot avoid a certain disjointedness, and the author's faith in the wonder of human rationality poses a familiar problem for questioning readers. Yet the incisiveness of Posner's ideas shine brilliantly through the flaws. No one has to agree with everything Posner says...
