Last night the performance was an improvement on the Graduates' night performance. The whole action progressed more smoothly and every character was brought out with increased brilliancy, showing greater confidence and understanding of the parts. The audience was more appreciative last night, many points being taken which before passed unnoticed. There are still a few small places where the action is inclined to drag, and it has been decided to eliminate them in the performances to follow. The theatre was over-crowded before the performance began and some were unable to gain entrance after the play started...
