...Buckingham, Ph. D., of Newton, died at his residence last Friday, May 29th. Mr. Buckingham was born in Boston in December, 1829, was educated at the Boston Latin School under the instruction of Epes S. Dixwell, and graduated at Harvard College in 1857. He was a man of wide attainments in literary and classical lore. At the time of his decease he was and had been for several years a teacher in the English High School in Boston, in the department of French literature.
