...Wife, directed by Gene Saks with the unerring control of a lion tamer of farce, is dotted with paralyzingly funny sight gags. One is provided by Lenny Baker, an immensely gifted clown, as he divests himself of each article of clothing, except his shorts (no one strips to the buff), with the chloroformed zeal of an inhibited zombie. Another is the foursome in bed poring over a sex manual as if it were the Das Kapital of the erotic revolution and deciding who is to be A, B, C and D in a horizontal power play...

To that end, she has crowded the turreted, Victorian Admiral's House that serves as the Vice President's official residence in Washington with 52 works by U.S. artists-sculptures, paintings and handicrafts. But Blaschko, 56, an exercise buff who swims year round in the California surf near her Long Beach home, adamantly refused to let surgeons remove the breast. ...redoubt of the Wilson Jack Kramer Autograph and the Dunlop Maxply Fort, now offer such large and varied arrays of racquets that the average player is bound to be confused. Which of the gleaming new products will convert a peashooter serve into a Roscoe Tanner cannonball? Will the weekend buff find Chris Evert's steady groundstrokes in a $69 graphite frame by Yamaha, or is the operator so poor that the tool required is a $200 (unstrung) Aldila Cannon? The questions are important because the racquet is "an extension not just of arm but of self. Between points...
