Three new shells have been ordered for the use of the 'varsity crew. Davy is to build a cedar boat. It will be constructed on a lighter and slightly narrower model than his former boats and will probably weigh, when completed, in the neighborhood of 200 pounds. Waters is at work on a paper shell which will be very much the same sort of a boat as that used by the '92 'varsity crew.
