Work will begin on the Stadium as soon as the ground has thoroughly thawed. Two towers, projecting at the end and outside of each arm of the Stadium, will be built first. Progress on the Stadium track has been going on rapidly and the work is now nearing completion. The base was built last autumn and is in good condition; on this a mixture of cinders and loam is being laid, but the frost in the loam retards the progress of the work. There has been proposed the usual cheering, confetti-throwing, the Ivy Oration, and singing with the Glee Club; and these exercises, held in the Yard, could take place in the following manner: A platform can be built against the rear of the Library, say, on the north side--or on the steps of Sever--with a sounding-board, as proposed for the Stadium.
