Brown came first to the bat, and Tenny led off with a short bunt, which Highlands could not get in time to field. He took second on Sexton's sacrifice, third on Hovey's fumble. Hovey retrieved himself, by a beautiful throw to the plate to cut off Sexton, who went in on Week's hit. For Harvard, Mason got out on a grounder to Steere.
