These sidelights are the best of United We Stand. The narration (Lowell Thomas) is patronizing, the script (Prosper Buranelli) undistinguished. Commentary, photography and score get in each other's way. They are concocted by Scripteurs Prosper Buranelli & Louis Sherwin, who have become so closely identified with Thomas that it is impossible to de termine whether he talks as they write or they write as he talks. They are careful to stress simple Americana, with accent on adventure and tear-jerking anecdotes.
