Howes caught Burr's kick-off on his 20-yard line. As the second team failed to gain Graydon punted, Newhall downing the ball for the University eleven in the middle of the field. In two plays the team carried the ball to the 20-yard line, Wendell making 25 yards through centre, and Macdonald 10 more on a forward pass. After a few short gains Wendell, who was given the ball on the 15-yard line, rushed it through centre for the third and last touchdown. The ball was not caught on Newhall's punt...
