Grant and Burton, who were the hares, picked a very good course, about seven miles in length. They went down Broadway and over Putnam avenue, thence across the Cottage Farm Bridge to Coolidge's corner and back by the way of North Harvard street. The break was made opposite Soldiers Field. None of the hounds finished within the eight minute limit so only the first two will receive prizes...
