Your report "Homicide In The Sky," on the unruly airline passenger who died from injuries inflicted by fellow flyers, almost got me off the ground [NATION, Oct. 2]. You seemed sympathetic to Jonathan Burton, a passenger who was acting like a crazed lunatic and who, if left unchecked, could have brought down a planeload of people. You looked critically at the brave passengers who apparently contributed to Burton's death while trying to subdue him. Was his death the result of vigilante justice?
