Yale almost scores.A push-play gave Yale 5 yards, but Emmons and Mackie spoiled the next two plays, and Butterworth tried a kick, which Mackie stopped. A Yale man got the ball, however, and on the second down L. Bliss made a fine run round Emmons for 40 yards aided by the best interference of the day. Two turtle-backs gave four yards, and then L.
