...Didn't happen. Sixty-seven this year, Jerry Lee Lewis refused to die. What Tosches wrote in 1982 about Lewis in 1962 pertains today: "Still he pumped onward, roaming the country in a dirty Cadillac, howling of the fire and the shaking, seeking his own vague salvation, indomitable."
