Baseball practice for the University squad will commence in the cage about a week after the mid-year period and for the Freshman squad a little earlier. The pitchers will probably do a little work during the mid-year period. No curved pitching will be used in batting practice, as it is thought that this has tended to injure the batting in former years. Outdoor practice will begin as soon as the weather will permit
