Coach Duffy put the University squad through a stiff batting practice for a full hour in the cage yesterday before the daily practice game. Several shifts were made in the teams again, Harte, West, Caley, Garritt and Boyd moving up to Team A, and Sears, Roos, Horne and Cummings being new men for Team B. ...University baseball squad was treated to its second practice game of the season in the cage yesterday afternoon, preceded by a 20-minute batting practice and followed by 15 minutes of snappy fielding. In conjunction with the fielders' workout the catchers were drilled in whipping the ball down to second base and in the usual double-play formations. In the pitchers' corner Coach Duffy allowed the men to start curving the ball as their arms are in good condition now.
