Amelita Galli-Curci (coloratura soprano) gave her name for advertising purposes to Swami Yogananda of India and Los Angeles, Calif., a man who looks like a plump woman. She was quoted in copy in Manhattan theatre programs as saying: "YOGODA gives Health, Strength, Power to Accomplish, Peace and Poise."
