...Canadian championship games were held at Montreal Saturday afternoon. Harvard was represented by W. C. Downs, '90. He won the half-mile run, making 1.59 3-8 as his time, and breaking the former Canadian record of 1.59 7-8, held by Moffit. The quarter-mile run which was held only a few minutes after the half-mile, Downs also won second place. The prize for the half-mile was a large gold medal, and that for the second place in the quarter was a silver...
