John Shaw Pfaffmann '17, of Quincy, has been elected captain of the University tennis team to fill the position left vacant by the resignation of G. C. Caner '17, who is going abroad to drive an ambulance. Pfaffmann was a regular on last year's team. The loss of Caner will be keenly felt, as he was the mainstay of the University team in the Intercollegiate last fall, winning the singles championship and with R.
