...CANNON MT.: An under-rated, under-used mountain, but don't tell anybody. Cannon is tolerable on weekends and completely empty on weekdays. The snow cover on top tends to ice up or blow away (since the mountain is almost above the timber-line and only scrub pine trees offer protection), but when it's open, an aerial tramway and two T-bars serve it.
