Nothing more unfortunate for the nine could have happened than the accident to Captain Rand in yesterday's game. An athletic captain has a responsibility on his shoulders which is unenviable under the best of circumstances, and the College realizes fully what it means to Rand to be put out of the game even temporarily at this critical point in the season.
