It was Carle, Curry and Greis teaming up late in the first half and early in the second to put things away for Harvard. But after a good night's sleep, Harvard's hopes came to an abrupt end with the entrance of the top-seeded Tigers.
Caryn Curry and Hildy Meyers spearheaded the Harvard scoring onslaught, each totaling 14 points. Wendy Carle poured in 13 points while Leslie Greis and Katherine Fulton added six and five, respectively.
The Crimson, with buckets by Hewitt, Curry, Carle and Katherine Fulton, outscored Dartmouth 10-2 in the first ten minutes of the second half to put the game out of reach.
It was a good night for Crimson steals, with Carle nabbing five and Meyers filching four. Neither team was spectacular off the boards, though Hewitt backed up Curry with six.
