...Carr recived the kickoff and ran to the 25-yard line. Wendell fumbled and Witherby secured the ball for the second team. Another fumble gave the first eleven the ball and Wendell made eight yards around right end. As Nichols gained only a yard and Carr was thrown back for a loss of two yards by C. Blagden, Brill punted to Gilder, who was tackled by MacDonald in the centre of the field. Fish went through Kersburg for three yards but Gilder lost seven yards on an attempted quarterback run.
