...change of Aronson for Rogers in the outfield apparently made little difference in the fielding, as Rogers handled his one fly cleanly. What difference the changes in the batting order may have made are of course problematical. Carr was not in good form at shortstop, and his poor playing may perhaps be attributed to his recent injury.
