There's just one snag. The carts are adorned with the hotel's logo and the Mandarin Oriental group's signature gold fan - a dead giveaway that you are a) cashed-up and b) from out of town. If you don't want every shopkeeper in KL rubbing hands with avaricious glee at your approach, we suggest you cover up these emblems, or better still, ditch the cart and carry a cheap tote like everyone else...

Hooray for Bill Gates, I guess. Hooray (long ago) for Marconi's gypsy cart, the telegraph.
