...performance was decidedly better than the Brattle Hall performance. Encouraged by the favorable criticisms of several English professors, the cast went back to work rehearsing a week before the recess, and were able to make great improvement in several characters, and especially in the rather difficult exits. Entire new costumes for Mr. and Mrs. Croaker, and new wigs, by Rothe, for the whole cast, improved the staging of the play very much.
