CASV, along with several students and student groups, also feels that changes in resources are important in order to create a “community of support.” CASV??s highest priority is to establish a trained “impartial advocate” as a centralized name to call directly after an incident of sexual violence. This impartial advocate would inform the victim of her options, explain the Ad Board procedure, suggest other campus resources and provide counseling.
