...Since 1982, when the Harvard Gay and Lesbian Caucus was founded, the movement for gay rights has come a long way. For most of us who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) at Harvard, we can live openly and without fear in our jobs and as students. We can pursue both our degrees and employment with the protection of the law behind us, we can hold high positions of leadership and esteem, and we can even legally marry our sweethearts in Memorial Church.
