Mr. Colby and Mr. Ruland had worked up the subject together, and read extracts from Cellini's very interesting autobiography, and comments on his works by Symonds. The meeting was entirely informal. and Mr. Ross and others often added some interesting word or anecdote to the accounts of the regular speakers.
