With the passing of football from the stage last Saturday, winter sports yesterday entered into the center of the athletic limelight. A grand total of 141 men turned out, 46 for hockey, 45 for basketball, and 40 for wrestling, all of which sports opened their season yesterday at preliminary meetings...

Burgess dislocated a vertebra while leading the cheering at New Haven last Saturday and will be out for a week or more. Chase, along with Captain E. M. Beals '25, N. S. Howe '26, and J. W.
