Harvard may be used to bucking national trends, but in math and computer science, its relationship to the national gender gap is more complicated.Nationally, the number of incoming female undergraduates choosing computer science as a major declined 70 percent between 2000 and 2005, according to the National Center for Women & Information Technology.
