Competing against five other freshman teams in the I. C. A. A. A. A. contest at New York Saturday afternoon, the 1921 cross-country runners succeeded in placing second to Syracuse in the team championship and in taking individual honors through the brilliant work of Captain D. F. O'Connell '21, who won first place. Yale 1921 was third in the team score, followed by Pennsylania, Columbia and the College of the City of New York in succession.
