...HAVEN, CONN., Dec. 12. - Walter Camp, the Yale football advisor, today returned from California, where he has been for two months coaching the Leland Stanford University football team. PHILADELPHIA, PENN., NOV. 30. - A rumor was freely circulated here to the effect that the University of Pennsylvania football team had decided to send a challenge to Yale in order to settle all dispute as to the championship.
