...spite of the fact that the class of 1911 has never won the class football championship and although this is the last opportunity to do so, there does not seem to be enough interest among the men to come out in sufficient numbers to make up even a full team. This is certainly a disgrace to the Senior class. Unless a large number of men report today it will be absolutely impossible to form any kind of an eleven, as the first game is but a few days away...

...yesterday afternoon, the "Fortune Hunters" defeated the "Arcadians" by the score of 2 to 1. The only other games that have been played were ties, and therefore the game tomorrow will be the last and deciding one of the series, the "Fortune Hunters" playing the "Chocolate Soldiers" for the championship...

This year the Freshmen will be represented in the series by the second Freshman team. The Seniors will meet the Juniors, and the Sophomores the Freshmen, the winners playing for the championship. Numerals will be awarded the members of the winning team, and if the Freshmen win they will receive their numerals in their class colors...
