Owing to the early arrival and departure of the commission sent by the French Government to present a bas-relief of France for the statue of Champlain at Crown Point, N. ...Sumichrast of the French Department will deliver the fourth in the series of six Alliance Francaise lectures on "The French in India and in America," in Huntington Hall, Boston, this afternoon at 4 o'clock. The special topic for discussion will be "New France: Cartier and Champlain," and the lecturer will illustrate his talk with stereopticon views.
