...sixty-seventh year, - an event which has elicited hardly an expression of regret from our leading journals. From a Boston paper we learn that Sir Edward was the son of General Bulwer, entered Trinity College, Cambridge, at an early age, and was graduated at Trinity Hall; he delivered the Chancellor's prize poem, and began his literary life when quite young. From the same source we learn that he was elected to Parliament as a Liberal, and afterwards as a Reform candidate, - the date of his being raised to the peerage, etc. For this the said journal deserves much thanks...
