Died. Charles Ruggles, 84, long one of Hollywood's most engaging comedians; of cancer; in Santa Monica, Calif. With mischievous look and disarming grin, Ruggles performed in more than 90 films, most of them comedies (If i Had a Million, Charley's Aunt).
