Last week Chas, Pfizer & Co. disclosed that it has found a way to make all farm animals contented by adding tranquilizers to their feed. Results: steers fed tranquilizers gained weight 12% faster than steers left to worry about life; lambs gained weight up to 28% faster. Pfizer is not yet ready to say that tranquilizers should be generally used by cattle raisers. But tests so far show improved quality with no bad effects...
