(1.2 m) red-plastic penguins by the Italian collective Cracking Art. Inside, you don't have to check in to get a vast sampling of new art: the 9,000-sq.-ft. (836 sq m) exhibition space is free, open 24/7 and stuffed with wonders such as Text Rain, an installation by Camille Utterback and Romy Achituv, where visitors can watch letters descend onto full-size video images of themselves...
...what they insist was an assassination plot against Morales. At 4:30 a.m., police surrounded the Hotel de las Americas in downtown Santa Cruz, the capital of Bolivia's anti-Morales east.
