Intermission: The BU Mascot, "Rhett," is on the ice trying to cheer on some youngsters in another shooting contest, this one with mini-nets. We're tied at two a piece. The young man in the white shirt takes the lead and raises his arms in glory, but the boy in the black shirt ties it back up and celebrates with the Tiger Woods fist pump. Awesome...
...just over four minutes to play, but the Bulldogs refused to go away. With the lead down to five with 90 seconds remaining, an athletic reverse layup by Tay, followed by eight free throws, helped ice the game. As usual, Tay helped push the pace for Harvard. The biggest cheer of the night came with seven minutes left when she hit Katie Rollins with a behind-the-back pass for an easy layup. The two juniors put in solid contributions in the win. Tay finished with 12 points, eight assists, seven rebounds, and five steals, while Rollins added 11 points...

In the Southeast, though, there are a lot of Earnhardt fans. My image lends itself a little bit more to the modern fan, sometimes more toward the kids, and I guess more toward the wine drinkers ... I mean, I have my own wine, and fans love to pull for people they relate...
...Above all else, my message here is simple. Should you have tickets, use them! Go to the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston and cheer on Harvard this Monday night...
