Monique (by Dorothy and Michael Blankfort) is a child of the same French novel-The Woman Who Was No More -as the film Diabolique. The two are by no means twins, however. Hell Below Zero (Warwick; Columbia) is a hot-weather chiller that strives not so much to entertain the moviegoer as to air-condition him. Thus the scene shifts quickly to the Antarctic Ocean, where Alan Ladd is chasing whales and Joan Tetzel.
