...While chipper taglines about "cool" are not going to affect any normal teenager, frank discussions about health just might. New findings from the University of Minnesota link teen vegetarians to a less health-conscious lifestyle than that of their carnivorous peers. Presented with a degree of subtlety, the U of M study may just succeed not only as an indicator of larger body-image and confidence problems among teens who choose vegetarianism, but also as a warning shot for young vegetarians. You may think you're eating healthfully by avoiding meat, but here are some low-protein pitfalls you could...

...Eminem's sexual innuendo with the lines, "You should've never intimated we were lovers/When you know very well we never even touched each other." But mostly Charmbracelet feels like a hedge. There are the guest rappers (Jay-Z, Cam'ron) of Carey's late '90s hits, the chipper ballads of her multiplatinum middle period and even the glass-shattering dolphin shrieks of her early days. ...Streep) to discover her writerly secrets. Or by enrolling in one of the infamous screenwriting seminars given by Robert McKee (Brian Cox). It is certainly not eased by Kaufman's best invention, a completely fictional twin brother named Donald (also played by Cage), who is everything Charlie is not--chipper, feckless, self-confident. ...Monkees demonstrated long ago, there's no better medium than television for putting chipper, derivative pop singers on top of the singles charts. KELLY CLARKSON, 20, the former cocktail waitress from Burleston, Texas, who won Fox's American Idol talent contest along with a record deal with RCA, hit the royalties jackpot with A Moment Like This, the song she performed on the show's finale. The tune rose from its early slot of 52 on Billboard's Hot 100 to No. 1. Next month she starts a U.S. tour with nine former rivals, including runner-up Justin Guarini...
