...Sailor Mission branch of the Christian Association, in its missionary work among the sailors at T Wharf, Boston, is quietly carrying out a very laudable undertaking. Not only is the idea of the Sailor Mission a good one, but the method of the work is extremely sensible and practical. Its "missionary work" is not an attempt to inflate those among whom they work with a transient religious fervor, but to better them spiritually, morally, mentally and, indirectly as a result, physically.
