STUDENTS in Social Analysis 10 will probably spend Christmas vacation recovering from the ravages of the second course-wide hourly given this week. They will do themselves a favor by forgetting some of what they frantically crammed on Tuesday night.
The lights--making up a "Veritas" emblem, modeled after dining hall cups, a Christmas tree and a "93" for the students' class year--were pulled down by a group of first-years leaving a party on Friday, according to a Hollis resident present at the incident.
Proceeds from the concert will go to the Fund for Animals, which was founded in 1967 by Cleveland Amory '39, author of Who Killed Society? and the recent bestseller The Cat Who Came for Christmas.
"We definitely need to work on our power-play," Stickles said. "We don't play another Ivy game until after the Switzerland trip [over Christmas], so we have plenty of time to sharpen it up."
Applications will be available after Christmas, and candidates must pass a simulated teaching session and interview, Rottenberg said.
